Drifting is the latest and most exciting form of motor racing to come out of Japan and the west coast of America – it’s a very specialised form of driving which has become increasingly popular in the UK. It involves driving a rear wheel-drive car in such a way that the rear wheels break traction and the car then slides sideways through a given corner. It can only be practised safely at a track facility and CAL’s instructors offer a first rate drifting course.
